E.B.W is bespoke wardrobes done the old-fashioned way — one maker, one room at a time, dealing with you directly from the first message to the final fit.
Edinburgh Bespoke Wardrobes is a small local workshop, not a national fitted-furniture chain. There's no showroom, no sales team and no call centre — just a maker who designs, builds and installs every wardrobe personally. When you get in touch, you're talking to the person who'll actually do the work.
That keeps things simple and honest. Nothing gets lost in a handover between a salesperson and a fitter, because they're the same person. And because the work carries our name, the standard of it matters to us on every job.
"The wardrobe should fit the home, not the other way around."
Big fitted-wardrobe companies work from a range of standard units and adjust them to fit your room as best they can. We start from the opposite end — with your room — and build from scratch around it. That's the difference between furniture that fits into a space and furniture that's genuinely part of it.
It's why we can build around a sloped loft ceiling, a Victorian chimney breast or a wall that isn't quite straight, and make it look intentional. There's no template forcing the design; the room sets it.
Everything is designed, built and fitted in and around Edinburgh — Morningside, Stockbridge, Bruntsfield and across the Lothians. Working locally means we can come and see the space properly, take real measurements, and be there in person when it's installed.
No template, no standard unit, no model range. Every dimension is drawn from your space, and every detail comes from your brief.
Designed, crafted and installed locally, by the same person throughout. You work directly with the maker.
Materials and joints chosen to hold, not to hit a price point. A wardrobe built this way should last decades.
